Dr Grace Mwizerwa, BChD (UWC) | Founder and Principal Dentist
I created Grace Dental Suite to be the kind of practice I would want to visit myself. A quiet, private space with one chair, where you are never rushed and always heard.
My journey
I qualified as a dentist at the University of the Western Cape in 2021. I then did my community service at Khayelitsha Community Health Centre, caring for people of every age, background and dental need. Those years taught me to listen first and to make every visit count.
After that, I worked in private practice before opening my own suite in Parow in 2023.
How I care for you
- I explain everything. You will see what I see, understand your options and know the cost before we begin.
- I save teeth first. Nothing replaces your natural tooth, so I always look for a way to keep it. Extraction and implants are my last resort, never my first suggestion.
- I see one patient at a time. It is just you, me and my small team of four. No waiting room crowds, no conveyor belt.
- Nervous? Please tell me. We go at your pace, and we can agree on a simple signal for whenever you need a pause.
What I love doing
I especially enjoy aesthetic and restorative dentistry: composite bonding, smile makeovers, crowns, bridges and orthodontic treatment. I also look after all your everyday care, from check-ups and cleaning to fillings and root canals.
Away from the chair
Outside the practice, I’m happiest working with my hands. I do nails, I sew, and I blend my own perfumes. I also love a long walk. I’m no athlete, I simply enjoy the quiet time to think.
I think it’s the same part of me that loves dentistry: patience, a steady hand and an eye for small details.
